Next Charter School

Our Story

Next Charter School is a pioneering educational institution born from a unique partnership between a charter school and the Derry Cooperative School District. Established in 2012, Next was designed to provide a smaller, more flexible high school experience tailored to the diverse needs of students. With the support of the Derry School District, Next opened its doors in 2013, welcoming thirty 9th and 10th grade students. Today, it proudly serves 80 students, fostering a collaborative environment with Pinkerton Academy.

Impact

Over the past nine years, Next has successfully graduated 109 students, many of whom have pursued higher education and vocational training. The strong partnership with Pinkerton Academy allows students to participate in a variety of elective courses, sports, and extracurricular activities, enriching their educational journey.
