Newtrax was founded by Merrick, Inc. and PAI, Inc., two organizations dedicated to providing vocational and life enrichment services to adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Established in 2011, Newtrax was created to improve the efficiency of client transportation, offering group transportation services to specialty groups across the Metro of the Twin Cities.
Newtrax is a recognized leader in creating access to meaningful vocation and community life for individuals with limited opportunities. Daily, it provides transportation for over 600 adults with disabilities in the Northeast Metro, significantly reducing local road congestion, vehicle emissions, and costs for partner organizations.
