In June 1968, a group of twenty-four clergy members and community leaders came together to address the pressing housing needs in Newton, Massachusetts. This meeting led to the establishment of the Newton Community Development Foundation, which has since transitioned to a dedicated lay board. Over the decades, NCDF has been instrumental in shaping multi-family apartment living, owning and managing six thoughtfully designed housing communities, including those tailored for seniors.
