Our Story

NEWSED Community Development Corporation has been a beacon of hope in the Denver community since 1973. With a focus on addressing long-term economic challenges, NEWSED coordinates resources for neighborhood revitalization, fosters minority business ownership, and enhances job opportunities. The organization celebrates the rich cultural heritage of the Chicano, Mexicano, and Latino populations through various community events.

Impact

Over the years, NEWSED has transformed thousands of square feet of commercial space, rehabilitated over 100 homes, and developed 240 affordable housing units. The organization’s initiatives have created lasting stability for families and thriving small businesses.
