What began as a compassionate response to this need has grown into a nationwide effort to provide clothing and essentials for living newborns. Under the leadership of Connie Edwards since 2007, the organization has expanded its reach, establishing new chapters across the country to serve infants in need.
In the United States, 1 out of 7 babies is born into poverty each year. Newborns In Need addresses this crisis by distributing Newborn Immediate Need Kits free of charge, ensuring that essential needs are met for vulnerable newborns across the nation.
