Newborn Hope
EIN: 84-1093905 · Colorado Springs, CO
Our Story
Fifty-one years ago, a premature baby was born to a friend of Zoya Dickins Miller. Tragically, the baby girl passed away, leaving Zoya haunted by the thought that with the right knowledge, training, and resources, the outcome could have been different. This heart-wrenching experience inspired the inception of November Noel, a series of benefit luncheons launched in 1973 in Colorado Springs and Denver to raise funds for research on respiratory distress syndrome (RDS). Fourteen years later, Newborn Hope was officially incorporated, reflecting a broader mission to prevent premature births in Colorado and improve outcomes for premature babies and their families.
