The Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) began in New York State in 1946, with Dobbs Ferry High School as the first chapter. Since receiving its state association charter in 1964, FBLA has expanded to include numerous districts and chapters, focusing on developing essential leadership and business skills among students.
In the 2023-2024 membership year, New York State FBLA boasts 130 chapters and 2,767 members, demonstrating its significant role in shaping future business leaders.
