New Song Academy

Our Story

Since 1991, New Song Community Learning Center has been a beacon of hope in the Sandtown-Winchester community of West Baltimore. Founded by dedicated community leaders, including Susan and Alan Tibbel, this center was established with a vision to create a nurturing environment for learning and growth. The centerpiece of this initiative is New Song Academy, a pre-K through 8th grade public charter school that embodies the commitment to support the whole child. By bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds, the center fosters a collaborative spirit aimed at revitalizing the community.
