Our Story

Founded by Jim and Tammy Walter, New Road Missions began its journey in 2014, inspired by a deep love for South Africa's wildlife, culture, and people. After their first trip to the Limpopo Province in 1999, the Walters felt a calling to make a difference. Over the years, partnerships with local churches, schools, and businesses flourished, leading to the establishment of a full-time ministry in South Africa by 2016. In early 2020, NRM took over the management of The Fold, ensuring continued support for at-risk children.

Our Impact

New Road Missions rescues children, provides shelter, and offers biblically-based education, resulting in over 1,000 children finding hope in Jesus. This transformative work is fueled by faith and community support.
