New Life Day Center

Our Story

New Life Day Center was established in response to a critical service gap identified by the Lexington Fayette Urban County Government. With little to no options for daytime shelter for the homeless, our founder, Steve Polston, dedicated a year to researching best practices from successful homeless day centers across the country. Since opening in December 2011, the center has been a beacon of hope, operating six days a week to serve those in need.
