Founded in the late 1970s by Dr. Martin Doot, New Leaf Resources began as the Christian Care Center, addressing alcoholism and chemical dependency in Chicago. Over the years, the organization evolved, expanding its services to encompass a wide range of mental health issues. In 1996, it adopted the name New Leaf Resources to reflect this diversity, continuing a legacy of dedicated staff and generous donors committed to serving individuals and families facing emotional and relational challenges.
