Our Story

The New Jersey Parents’ Caucus, Inc. is a dedicated coalition of parents, caregivers, and young adults with lived experience. This organization focuses on empowering families raising children aged 0 to 26 who face emotional, behavioral, mental health, and substance use challenges. By advocating for family involvement in the mental health, juvenile justice, and child welfare systems, the Caucus plays a crucial role in shaping effective services.

Impact

As the only family-driven organization in the United States funded by the Office of Juvenile Justice & Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP), the New Jersey Parents’ Caucus is committed to strengthening families and preventing juvenile delinquency. It has also been recognized by SAMHSA as a Statewide Family Network in New Jersey, ensuring that families have a voice in critical systems.
