Our Story

Founded in 1961, the New Jersey Association on Correction (NJAC) emerged from the merger of The Citizens Association on Correction and The Morrow Association. Named after prison reform advocate Dwight W. Morrow, NJAC was established to prevent crime and delinquency while rehabilitating offenders. With a legacy of influential board members, including Millicent Fenwick and Edna Mahan, NJAC has been a beacon of hope for those affected by social inequities.
