Our Story

Founded in 1954 by dedicated parents, New Horizons has evolved from the San Fernando Valley Association for Retarded Children, Inc. to a leading organization serving individuals with special needs. With a commitment to empowering members, New Horizons offers a range of programs and services designed to help them achieve their full potential.

Impact

Each year, New Horizons serves approximately 1,300 individuals, providing essential services that promote independence and community integration. With 13 group homes and partnerships with 120 employers, the organization facilitates meaningful job placements for its members.
