Our Story
Founded in 1942 as the Northwest Florida Crippled Children Association, New Horizons of Northwest Florida, Inc. has evolved to meet the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Originally established to support those suffering from Polio, the organization became the first Intermediate Care Facility for the Developmentally Disabled in Pensacola in 1978. Today, New Horizons continues to provide quality healthcare and personal growth opportunities, ensuring that every individual can achieve their fullest potential.
