Our Story

Since 1978, New Horizons Ministries has been a beacon of hope for unhoused young adults in Seattle. Founded by Father Don, a Greek Orthodox priest, the organization emerged from a deep concern for the unmet needs of young people facing homelessness. Collaborating with local churches and community members, New Horizons has established itself as a vital resource, providing essential services and support to those in need. With centers spanning from Capitol Hill to Belltown, New Horizons has adapted over the years to effectively fulfill its mission of offering wraparound services and helping young people secure stable housing.

Our Impact

Every night a young adult is unhoused is one too many. New Horizons is dedicated to ensuring that youth homelessness is rare, brief, and one-time. Remarkably, 50% of young adults who exit to housing from New Horizons do so within just 100 days, showcasing the effectiveness of our programs.
