Transforming Lives Through Love and Care

Since 2005, New Horizons for Children has been dedicated to extending the love of God to vulnerable and orphaned children around the world. With partnerships in Ukraine, Latvia, Haiti, and Kenya, NHFC works tirelessly to meet the basic needs of children in state care while offering trauma-informed education and resources for their caregivers. The organization has established a network of U.S. families trained in trauma-informed caregiving, welcoming orphaned youth from Eastern Europe for enriching cross-cultural experiences.

Making a Significant Impact

In response to the ongoing crisis in Ukraine, NHFC is actively partnering with local government entities to resettle orphans to safe regions within the country. Currently, NHFC supports over 30 safe havens, providing refuge for approximately 5,000 children and their caretakers during the war. By facilitating educational resources, healthcare, and basic needs, NHFC is not only preserving Ukraine’s future generation but also reducing the risks of human trafficking.
