About New Hope Clinic

Founded in 1998 by a dedicated group of individuals, New Hope Clinic has been a beacon of hope for the uninsured in Brunswick County. Starting from a single room and treating just 38 patients in its inaugural year, the clinic has grown significantly. In June 2010, it moved to a spacious 4,000 sq. ft. facility in Boiling Spring Lakes, where it operates five days a week. With the recent expansion of adult Medicaid in North Carolina, New Hope Clinic is now able to serve adults with full Medicaid coverage, in addition to continuing its vital services for uninsured residents.

Comprehensive Healthcare Services

New Hope Clinic offers a wide range of healthcare services, including primary medical care, specialty care, dental care, and individualized patient education. The clinic also provides prescription medications and partners with other organizations to enhance the services available to the community. With a small paid staff and over 130 dedicated volunteers, the clinic manages to provide over 5,000 patient encounters annually, contributing more than 8,000 volunteer hours each year.

Impact on the Community

New Hope Clinic is committed to improving the health of Brunswick County residents in a caring, patient-centered environment. Each year, nearly 500 patients receive essential medical, dental, and pharmacy services. Remarkably, every $100 donated translates into $900 worth of services for the community, with 93¢ of every dollar going directly to patient services.
