Research for Parkinson's Disease

Our Story

When Chris Woods, an avid cyclist, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease at the age of 41, his family, led by his 73-year-old parents, Edna and Bob, embarked on a mission to create a cycling event dedicated to raising funds for Parkinson’s research. After discovering a lack of such events in New England, they took the initiative to organize the New England Parkinson’s Ride, uniting the community in the fight against this condition.

Impact

In 2021, the Ride Family raised a record-breaking $1,635,478 for research toward a cure!
