Our Story
Founded in 1987, the New England High School Journalism Collaborative has been a beacon for aspiring journalists. Through hands-on workshops and programs, students engage directly with professional reporters, photographers, and editors from local newspapers. The initiative particularly focuses on reaching inner-city students and those from under-served communities, fostering a new generation of diverse voices in media. Co-founded by the late Carole Remick, the Collaborative emphasizes the critical need for representation across cultures in journalism.
