Our Story

New Dawn Guatemala is a grassroots organization based in Seattle, founded in 2013 to promote equitable and ecologically friendly development in the rural community of Nuevo Amanecer, Guatemala. Established by a group of Seattle residents who visited the area, the organization collaborates with the community council to identify development needs, focusing on self-reliance and sustainability.

Impact

Since its inception, New Dawn Guatemala has provided scholarships for over 130 students and funded vital community projects, significantly improving access to clean water and fostering economic vitality.
