New Century Careers

Our Story

New Century Careers is a nonprofit organization established in 1999 to tackle the critical shortage of entry-level machinists and manufacturing workers in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Founded by a collaboration of local manufacturers and educational institutions, NCC provides inclusive access to technical training opportunities. Over the years, the organization has adapted to the evolving demands of the manufacturing industry, launching programs like the Manufacturing 2000 (M2K) training program and the Registered Robotics Technician Apprenticeship Program.

New Century Careers has successfully trained numerous individuals in the manufacturing sector, equipping them with the skills necessary to secure family-wage jobs. Collaborating with over 130 local manufacturers, NCC significantly contributes to the regional economy and workforce development.
