Our Story

The New Braunfels Conservation Society was founded in 1964 to save the Ferdinand Lindheimer Haus, a significant historic home in New Braunfels. As the IH-35 corridor developed, NBCS took action to save, relocate, and restore notable historic structures through the generosity of conservation-minded donors.
