New Beginnings Educational Center

Our Story

Founded by Joe and Florence Catledge, New Beginnings Educational Center began in 2002 as an outreach ministry aimed at addressing the challenges faced by at-risk youth in Montgomery County, Alabama. Initially starting as an after-school tutorial program, the Center has evolved to focus on providing educational support to children from low-income families, particularly those in government-assisted housing. The founders believe that education is the great equalizer and that a holistic approach is essential for strengthening families and communities.
