Since 1997, New Avenues for Youth has been dedicated to supporting young people in Portland, Oregon, helping them overcome barriers and realize their potential. With a range of programs and services, including meals, counseling, education, job training, and housing assistance, New Avenues meets youth where they are and guides them toward a brighter future.
Impacting Our Community
In the 2020-21 period, 1,198 youth accessed vital services, 13,649 meals were served, and an impressive 96% of youth exiting our Transitional Housing program moved into safe, stable housing.
