About the Nevada Ski Team Boosters

The Nevada Ski Team has a storied legacy, being one of the oldest NCAA ski programs established in 1936 by Wayne Poulsen, founder of Palisades Tahoe. This team has produced numerous elite skiers and snowboarders, including 18 athletes from the Reno/Tahoe area who competed in the 2022 Beijing Olympics. As the only NCAA ski program in the Sierra Nevada region, the team thrives with access to 22 ski areas within a two-hour drive from Reno.
