Our Story

In 2004, Kevin and Toni Spilsbury faced a challenge when their son Connor was born blind. Recognizing the lack of resources for visually impaired children in Nevada, they founded the Nevada Blind Children's Foundation (NBCF) in 2006. This initiative led to the establishment of the state's first Braille and resource library, along with vital educational programs.
