Our Story

Founded in 1985 by Occupational Therapist Linda Butrey, Neurotherapeutic Pediatric Therapies, Inc. was established to fill a critical gap in family-centered therapy services in the Portland area. In 1997, Karen and Brent Brelje took over the organization, which was restructured as a nonprofit in 2007 to enhance accessibility and affordability for uninsured and under-insured children and adolescents. Today, Neuro operates eight clinics across Oregon, serving over 800 clients weekly.
