Net of Compassion
EIN: 83-0876779 · Worcester, MA
Our Story
Founded in 2010 by Pastor Richie Gonzalez and his wife Elizabeth, Net of Compassion began with a simple act of kindness: handing out sandwiches to those in need. This initiative was born from Pastor Richie's own experiences with substance use disorder and homelessness. Over the years, this compassionate effort has transformed into a weekly ritual, serving over 300 hot meals every Saturday on the sidewalks of Main South in Worcester.
Impact
Every week, Net of Compassion provides not just meals, but also clothing, toiletries, and essential recovery support to hundreds of individuals facing poverty, homelessness, and mental health challenges.
