Our Story

Since 2004, Nest Foundation has been at the forefront of preventing violence against children, particularly focusing on sexual exploitation. The release of the documentary 'PLAYGROUND: The Child Sex Trade in America' in 2009 catalyzed significant changes in federal legislation, shifting the narrative from viewing trafficked children as criminals to recognizing them as victims. This pivotal moment laid the groundwork for Nest's innovative approach to violence prevention education, which now addresses the interconnectedness of all forms of violence.

Impact

With a commitment to outreach, Nest has directly reached over 25,000 students with prevention education and trained more than 350 educators. Nearly 90,000 participants have engaged in workshops and trainings, showcasing the profound impact of Nest's initiatives in violence prevention education.
