Nest Academy RVA

Our Story

Nest Academy RVA was born out of a deep need for a nurturing environment for young adults with complex disabilities. Founded by Nora and Tom Carroll, the academy emerged from their personal journey to find suitable post-high school programs for their son, Christopher, who has Cerebral Palsy and multiple disabilities. After facing numerous challenges and rejections from local programs, Nora recognized a significant gap in services for individuals like Christopher. In 2020, she transformed her passion and experience into Nest Academy RVA, a community-focused program designed to help young adults thrive.
