Our Story

North Brooklyn Neighbors is a grassroots nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the vibrant communities of Greenpoint and Williamsburg in Brooklyn. Formed through the merger of Neighbors Allied for Good Growth and the Greenpoint Waterfront Association for Parks & Planning, NBN focuses on community-based solutions to enhance public spaces and the environment.

Impact

Since 1994, NBN has significantly improved the lives of local residents by reclaiming waterfront areas, advocating for increased access to open spaces, and combating pollution. The organization empowers neighbors with essential resources to foster a healthier and safer community.
