Since 1982, the Neighborhood Initiatives Development Corporation has been dedicated to stabilizing and revitalizing the Northeast Bronx. Initially formed to assist landlords with renovations and advocate for tenants, NIDC has expanded its mission to include quality youth services, launching afterschool programs in 1988 for children aged 4 to 18.
For 40 years, NIDC has been a pillar of support for families in the Bronx, providing essential housing counseling, after-school programs, and vital public information to residents.
