Our Story
Neighborhood Housing Services of the South Shore Inc, known as NeighborWorks Housing Solutions, was established in 2019 through the merger of NeighborWorks Southern Mass and Housing Solutions for Southeastern Massachusetts. This organization is dedicated to a 'more than housing' approach, emphasizing that stable, affordable housing is essential for individual and family wellbeing as well as community economic vitality.
Impact
Since 2012, NHS has successfully housed over 5,000 formerly homeless families and has partnered with workforce development organizations to help 500 individuals secure employment. Annually, NHS serves over 12,000 families through various impactful programs.
