Our Story

Neighborhood Housing Services of South Buffalo is dedicated to enhancing the lives of low-income and elderly households in Buffalo. Since 1979, this organization has been a steadfast ally, focusing on weatherization to improve energy efficiency and affordability.

Impact

Since taking over the weatherization program in 1999, NHS South Buffalo has weatherized over 13,000 homes, positively impacting nearly 25,000 residents, which accounts for one third of all low-income residents in the city.
