Neighborhood Housing Services of San Antonio has been dedicated to creating affordable housing choices for families for nearly 40 years. As a HUD-certified Community Housing Development Organization and a US Treasury-certified Community Development Financial Institution, NHSSA focuses on developing new housing units and rehabilitating existing homes to provide quality affordable housing options for low and moderate-income families.
NHSSA has developed and constructed over 325 new homes, rehabilitated 200 existing homes, and closed more than 1,400 loans totaling over $30 million. The organization serves over 300 clients annually with counseling services, helping them achieve financial stability and successful homeownership.
