Our Story

The Neighborhood Center of West Volusia was founded in 1969 to address the urgent needs of the hungry and homeless. Starting with a modest house in DeLand, Florida, the Center has grown significantly, expanding its services to support over 20,000 families each year.

Impact

In 2023 alone, the Food Pantry distributed over 312,000 meals to those in need. The Center provides essential housing programs, assisting more than 200 individuals daily, including families, veterans, seniors, and individuals with disabilities.
