Our Story
The Neighborhood Boys & Girls Club (NBGC) was founded in 1931, originating from a single football game played at Revere Park. Starting in a small garage in Chicago, it has grown into a significant community organization dedicated to youth development. The founders, Robert Buehler and Richard Valentin, aimed to create a place to build 'Better Men' and where 'Everyone Plays.' Over the years, NBGC has provided a safe and supportive environment for youth, offering various athletic, educational, social, and leadership programs.
Impact
NBGC has been an integral part of the community for over 90 years, serving more than 2,500 youth annually through programs that promote leadership, teamwork, and personal development. The organization provides a safe space for children to engage in positive activities, helping them grow into responsible adults.
