Our Story

In 2000, a 19-year-old Anju embarked on a journey from Nepal to the USA, fueled by dreams of education and opportunity. While studying at American University in Washington DC, she worked tirelessly to achieve her goal of obtaining a prestigious degree. After becoming a full-time mother, Anju felt a deep desire to extend her impact beyond her family. This passion led to the creation of NEEKO, a nonprofit dedicated to providing underprivileged and visually challenged children in Nepal with the resources they need to pursue their dreams.
