Our Story
Nebraskans for Alternatives to the Death Penalty is a nonpartisan nonprofit founded in 1981, dedicated to educating the public about the flaws in the death penalty system and advocating for its abolition in Nebraska's unicameral Legislature. Despite successfully repealing the death penalty in 2015, it was reinstated through a referendum. With over 1,800 members and a mailing list of over 12,000, NADP remains steadfast in its mission.
