Our Story
The National Community Reinvestment Coalition (NCRC) was established in 1990 to enhance the flow of private capital into underserved communities. With nearly 800 community-based organizations as members, NCRC promotes access to essential banking services, affordable housing, entrepreneurship, and job creation. In 2007, the NCRC Community Development Fund (CDF) was launched to specifically address the racial wealth divide in America. As a U.S. Treasury-certified Community Development Financial Institution, NCRC CDF provides crucial access to capital and business training services, while incentivizing developers to create affordable housing in historically neglected neighborhoods.
