Our Story

New Beginnings is dedicated to transforming lives by offering psychological counseling and housing assistance to the homeless and low-income individuals in Santa Barbara County. Through innovative programs like the Counseling Center and Safe Parking Shelter, approximately 2,000 people receive essential support each year.

Impact

With over $4 million in direct financial assistance provided to clients, New Beginnings has made a significant impact on the community. From July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023, more than $1.1 million was allocated to help veterans and low-income families secure housing, covering rent, utilities, and medical expenses.
