Navigators USA

Our Story

Navigators USA was founded in 2003 by a dedicated group of volunteers from Boy Scout Troop 103 in East Harlem, New York City. Recognizing the need for a more inclusive scouting experience, they established a secular and non-discriminating alternative to traditional scouting. Over the years, Navigators USA has developed a comprehensive curriculum and published handbooks, supported by a grant from McGraw-Hill. The organization has grown steadily, establishing over 414 Chapters by Fall 2024, providing a safe and welcoming environment for youth to learn and grow.
