Our Story

The Nature and Wildlife Discovery Center, established in 2018, emerged from the merger of two dedicated organizations. With over 50 years of combined experience, NWDC operates under permits from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Colorado Parks & Wildlife, delivering high-quality nature programming to the City and County of Pueblo.
