Our Story
Founded in 2003 in Arctic Village, Native Movement began as a campaign to amplify the Alaska Native voice in the fight for Indigenous hunting and fishing rights. By 2007, it became a formally incorporated 501c3 non-profit, expanding its reach along the west coast. Today, Native Movement empowers grassroots-led initiatives that uphold the rights of Indigenous Peoples and Mother Earth, fostering sustainable communities.
