Our Story
The Native Health Initiative was founded in 2005 by passionate summer interns dedicated to understanding health issues in Indigenous communities. Over the years, it has transformed into a vital organization focused on nurturing youth leaders and enhancing the well-being of Indigenous populations.
Our Impact
NHI addresses health inequities by fostering a supportive community for Indigenous youth, promoting their physical, cultural, mental, and spiritual well-being through innovative programs like Running Medicine and Healers of Tomorrow.
