Empowering Through Adaptive Sports

The National Sports Center for the Disabled (NSCD) was founded over 50 years ago by Hal O’Leary, starting with a ski program for 23 young amputees. Today, NSCD offers a variety of adaptive outdoor experiences, including skiing, hiking, and horseback riding, aimed at empowering individuals with disabilities.

Transforming Lives

Since its inception, NSCD has served over 152,000 participants, enhancing their confidence and independence through adaptive sports.

Why Your Donation Matters

Donations to NSCD ensure that adaptive sports programs remain accessible to everyone, helping over 1,700 individuals each year discover their abilities and live fuller, healthier lives. Contributions support adaptive equipment, specially-trained instructors, and the overall mission of empowerment.
