Our Story
The National Society of the Colonial Dames of America (NSCDA) was founded in 1891 by a dedicated group of women committed to restoring and preserving the rich heritage of colonial history. The Connecticut chapter, established in 1893, has been operating the Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum since 1919, focusing on historic preservation, education, and patriotic service.
