The National Postsecondary Agricultural Student Organization began in 1979 with a gathering in Kansas City, officially launching in 1980. As one of the ten Career and Technical Student Organizations, PAS has significantly impacted postsecondary students in agriculture, reflecting the evolution of agricultural education since the early 20th century.
With over 600 students competing at Nationals and more than 60 chapters across 13 states, PAS effectively prepares future agriculture professionals.
