Our Story

The National Museum and Center for Service was envisioned by Congressman Brian Baird to honor and inspire service in all its forms. This initiative aims to create a nationwide network of local service exhibitions and a signature national institution near the National Mall in Washington, D.C., celebrating the spirit of service that is central to American character and democracy.

Impact

This museum seeks to uplift and showcase the greatness, diversity, and potential of all Americans who dedicate themselves to serving their communities. The goal is to reverse the decline of the spirit of service in the nation.

Why Donate?

Your donations support the preservation and communication of stories from those dedicated to service, enabling programming that inspires future generations to engage in service. Contributions help build a museum that celebrates the American spirit of service in the heart of the nation.
